    Its legacy is unlike that of any other motorcycle in the world.  The unmistakable sound of vintage V8 Ford Flathead power.  A motorcycle that is as gratifying to look at as it is to listen to, and as pleasurable to own as it is to ride.  An uncommon experience shared by a select few.  Flathead motorcycles are not for everyone, but then again life's most desirable experiences never really have been.    
   
Some Facts about Flathead Motorcycles:

Flathead Ford Engines are vintage 1937-1940.  Engines are inspected and rebuilt with new rings, bearings, timing gears and valve guides as necessary for dependable service
  • Flathead Motorcycles are one of a kind!  Components and specifications may vary accordingly.
  • Fuel range is approximately 100 miles.  Check fuel after about one hour.
  • At 60 mph, engines turn approximately 2,700-2,800 RPM
  • Although overheating is generally not a problem, air must flow through the radiator for cooling. 
  • Motorcycles are equipped with electric fans and coolant recovery.
  • Fuses are concealed within the headlamp for circuit protection
  • Engines use 20W50, or straight 50W motor oil.
  • Transmissions use 85/140 gear oil and have a 1 1/4 quart capacity.
  • Valve service can be easily accomplished with the engine in frame.
  • Flathead motorcycles are sold "as-is" without warranty (expressed or implied)

Styling - Vintage Hardtail

Engine - Ford Flathead V8, factory rated 60 horsepower, Bore 2.6" diameter, Stroke 3.2" diameter, produced by Ford Motor Company 1937-1940 (rebuilt stock)

Cubic Inches - 136 CID, 2200 CC

Compression - 6.1:1 with OEM heads.

Exhaust - Chrome dual open exhaust, four cylinders exit into each 1 3/4" pipe with fishtail exhaust exits.

Fuel System
- Vintage Holley Model 94 two barrel carb concealed beneath leather panel  with an electric fuel pump.  Tank features approximate four gallon capacity including reserve.

   
     
   
   

Cooling - 50/50 water and antifreeze mixture with radiator, twin water pumps, seven pound pressure cap, electric fan, and coolant recovery tank.

Electrical - Delco 12 volt alternator with internal regulator.  Handlebar wiring concealed inside bars.

Ignition - Key switch with Mallory Unilite breakerless distributor and coil.

Battery - 12 volt dry charge, positioned under seat.

Lighting - Vintage style headlight, High/Low beam with High Beam indicator with color keyed headlight housing.  Vintage-style Cat Eye tail lamp.

Clutch - Handlebar lever control, automotive single disc.

Transmission - 3:92-1 direct drive with clutch, gearbox has spiral bevel-cut gears with 1-1 ratio

Secondary Drive - 13T front sprocket, 51T rear, #530 HD O-ring chain

Front Fork - Custom springer with 34 degree rake

Frame - Custom downtube hardtail powder coated black.

Wheels - Chrome laced-spoke

Tires - Firestone Deluxe Champion, four ply tube-type.  Front: 325X19, Rear 500X16

Brakes - Front and rear hydraulic disc brakes, 11.5" stainless steel, ventilated disc

Gauges - Mechanical 140mph speedometer with odometer and trip meter, water temperature and oil pressure.
Seat
- Mustang solo seat.  Seat height is approximately 26".  Dual storage bags are positioned on each side below seat
