Like many of you, I grew up with Honest Charley. So much so that my earliest education with Hot Rods and parts came from his early catalogs. I purchased my first speed parts in 1961 and picked up my first Honest Charley T-shirt soon after. It seems like it was part of my hot rod wardrobe for a hundred years.

Our friend Kay Baker recently told us that after 30 years, her husband Jack's Honest shirt finally became a shop rag. And L.G. Shaffer just presented us with a framed Honest T-shirt that he gave his son over 35 years ago. L.G.'s shirt is now hanging in our showroom. Many of our other friends have told us about Honest Charley memorabilia that, over the years, has been important to them and their family.
